are many exceptional places to get married in and around Tweed Heads.
But Alice and Donny chose Alice's home town of Duranbah, just
outside of Kingscliff and Cabarita. The beautiful bride got ready
at her own family home with the help of her cousin and friend,
while the groom got ready in the luxury of Salt in Kingscliff. It
certainly was a busy day to play wedding photographer but it was
definitely worth it!
The stunning wedding decorations were made
with love by Alice's family and it was a joy to see the time and effort
and care put into it all as Alice walked down the aisle on the arm of
her very emotional and proud father. There were tears flowing in the
crowd as they watched the loved up duo exchange heartfelt vows to one
the ceremony it was off to the Lake Cabarita and surrounds to take
wedding photos in the gorgeous late afternoon sunlight. This is
truly a spectacular time of day to be a wedding photographer, the light
is soft and flattering, not to mention ultra warm and romantic.
Cudgen lake near Kingscliff is a beautiful spot to do wedding
photography and we got some really special photographs of Alice and
Donny on their wedding day!
mentioned above, the reception was held at the lakeside restaurant "The
Lake Cabarita". With it's spacious, elegant interior it was the
perfect location for the wedding reception. Guests were treated
to magnificent food and speeches that are still being quoted today.
Indeed, the best man brought the house down with his very unique,
sports oriented speech.
and Donny's amazing cake was created by the very talented people at The
Cake That Ate Paris from Palm Beach on the Gold Coast. It was
both delicate and bold with it's symphony of golds and lilacs and
to Donny and Alice on taking the plunge and getting married. It
was truly amazing to be your wedding photographer and watch you enjoy
your wedding day!
