The lace on the bride’s gown is so delicate it clings to her like a silken spiderweb. Family walk in and out and gush at how beautiful her dress is. There are sighs, and laughter and tears as they prepare. Champagne flows. The clock ticks on. On a property just outside of Byron Bay, it’s almost time for this lovely young lady to meet her beau. As she puts the finishing touches to her hair and make up, he is outside waiting. A giant fig tree shades him as he glances over the valley below. Soon he will have a wife.
Sigh … and people ask me why I like being a wedding photographer.
